They do not have a hygenist, and therefore, I cannot get my teeth cleaned every nine months. I have to wait 12 months for my insurance to cover part of it. They have raised their rates, probably to correspond with a more current ODA Billing formula. Their newest hire charged me over $500 to fill two fillings, in 20 minutes. She also left a ridge on one tooth. I'm thinking of going back to the old location, 30 minutes away, because they seem more caring and understanding about payments and charges. I am lucky to have supplementary insurance, but I think it encourages the new dentist, who I have gone to for three years, to bill more. Drs. Khomik are gentle and nice but they have an odd office setup. It's handy but I think I want more than that.
