I have appreciated the promptness and reliability from the Taxi Scrip Program office out of Hamilton (Mount Hope [?]), Ontario during the pandemic. Though there have been no offices from which to purchase the scrips from in person due to closures, they have been faithfully mailed to me at my request. Every time I have put a call through to the office, it has been returned to me within two hours the same day. Way to go! The one complaint: There was no way to get around for the first few months of the pandemic, since there was no way to purchase the scrips. This did not make sense. Those of us who use the service are of the most vulnerable, and we still had to eat and go to appointments; but the program suspended all purchases of scrips. Did not make sense and caused additional stress during the already stressful worldwide pandemic. Thankful for the workers at this office.
